I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. Hi so I need help. I currently work to bring clients into the company i work at for web design, social media management, and brand strategy. I also do this as feeelance on the side, so where do I draw the line between who I refer to the company I work for or who I personally do freelance for? I don’t want to short out the company I work for but also love freelance and am more than capable of the work.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?
