[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Hey guys, Since I am working in Deloitte and right now, I am working from home. I want to go Nepal for 2 months and I want to work from there. Do I need to tell my manager or simply I can go there and start my work. Is there any obligation?
Note- I don't want to tell anyone. Since it may backfire sometimes

If it’s any consolation to you both, I have a close family member who is a PICU nurse. There are hundreds of tests pending where he works. None of those pending tests are children. He also hasn’t heard of any children in critical condition from the virus where he works or in our state. Now this is an anecdote but it made me feel a little better!
I also feel kinda icky (cough, fatigue, scratchy throat, sinuses). Allergy season is off to a strong start so I am attributing my symptoms to that. I am monitoring my temp though. If I get a fever, that will be when I panic and call the doc. Until then, rest, vitamins, fluids, and Tylenol-only (given new guidance from WHO).
Every time my kids cough I look up covid symptoms.
Can you check w your doc?
No fever so Doc isn’t worried. Said to minimize outside contact to avoid spreading... but I can’t manage w/o babysitter dropoff 😕
Check w your doc. There isn’t any medicine or a vaccine. All you can do is self-isolate as if you all have it to, to be safe.
