My 21 mo has been going to daycare since a month. Last Sat he fell sick (cough, cold, fever) so for 3 days we have been staying home caring for him. He went back to daycare on Thur and he seems quiet in the videos from daycare. But after coming back home he is throwing himself on the floor and screaming non-stop. He only calms down momentarily when we walk with him outside but the cycle repeats in the house. Please advise if you have gone through this. Taking him out of daycare is not an option.

He's just winding down after a busy day. Tantrum time. I remember trying to stay patient and rocking mine gently when we got home for a few mins. Then getting her set up with some crayons or PBS kids while I made dinner.

My daughter always acts out behaviorally for a few days after she is sick. I was really worried the first time it happened but our teachers assured us it was common.

Give it time. They adjust. Mine also throw tantrums. Its bc at school they have to follow rules and at home they don't always have to.

Honestly, I’m done with covid. I’ve done all I can do, the rest is in God’s hands. Come at me telling me about how I don’t care about anyone but myself, x y and z. I quarantined, masked, vaxxed. What else can I do? I’m going to start living life like it’s 2019 again.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working as a contract TAS for 6 months in a medical device company. I started part time and as it became busier/my trainer quit, I became full-time. I applied for the TA position through corporate and would like some insight. the company is short staffed and my site specifically does not have good TA retention. For the salary expectation, I put in 85k which is in the range. I’m currently at 64k which is below the minimum of the range. Is this realistic?

Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. It was such a beautiful relationship but ultimately he just didn’t love me. I love him so much. My mind knows that I deserve reciprocal love and I’m worthy, but I feel physically ill. My body hurts, my stomach is in knots, my head hurts. How is it that I have to mend a broken heart but also meet my billable hours lmao

Hey folks, A person who is more experienced than our team members showing unnecessary interest in some work related to project and torturing us who is 2/3 yrs less experienced than that person. He acts as if he is superior and nobody will actually care. I thought of reporting the concern to my delivery lead or manager of the account, but stepped back thinking of later happenings. The project is good but this person is making team sick and actually making it a toxic environment. Any suggestions?

Has anyone had roommates who got sick with Covid and they managed to not catch it from them? If so, what precautions did you take? We have a good relationship and so far he’s been staying in his room and using a mask whenever he needs to use the restroom or grab water from the kitchen. I am the only one who touches the fridge and takes his food out so he can eat. What else can we really do?

I, a childless woman who does not plan to have kids, am jealous of the parental leave parents get to take from work from choosing to have a child (a big life event). I 100% understand that they are working in a different way by taking care of the baby and being deliriously worn out in the process, but it makes me sort of jealous that unless I have a kid there is no life event that I can take ~3 months away from work to focus on and enjoy, plus have my hours prorated and a job to come back to.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink?
