My bday is on Labor Day & I asked my sister's coworker if she had any plans & she told me she was free a few weeks ago & changed her plans to how she's only available before 12pm & after 8pm. Wtf? I was hoping to do something before 8pm &after 12pm. Plus she lives far so we would be meeting up halfway about 40 mins away. I’m currently struggling with my friend group. I’m a transplant to my current city and ended up making friends with my coworkers (who were also transplants). Now I’m regretting this as I don’t feel like the friendship is deep and things seem competitive. I feel like I have no friends and my real friends (from HS and College) are in a different state and have their own lives. Any advice on dealing with having no real friends where you live?

NDAs have for too long enabled bad behavior to continue, and it's time companies pledged to stop using NDAs in settlements with victims -- the coverup is worse than the bad acts. I think Warren torpedoed Bloomberg's campaign due to his use of NDAs. Thoughts?
