My brother & fiancée have asked my daughters to be flower girls in their wedding. I just received an email from her that the kids are only to stay through cocktail hour and then they’ve arranged child care at a separate venue. Am I overreacting to think it’s presumptuous for her 1) not talk to me about it directly and 2) think that I’ll be ok with caretakers I’ve never met caring for my kids?(esp during a pandemic when we’ve already said we may bow out due to infection rates?)

I know this isn’t a marriage therapy bowl, but my husband has a really terrible tendency of saying things like “you’re being really mean” and completely shutting down during a disagreement when i objectively am not being mean, just truthful or vocal about how i feel about something. It’s a really convenient argument for him because it enables him to either be the victim and me the villian, or forces me to concede my stance and not reach a true resolution. Any tips on dealing with the irrational?

So my fiancé and I are having a microwedding in Rocky Mountain National Park next year, and we’re working with an elopement planner.
She sent over a sample ceremony (intro, sweet poems + passages to be read, and example vows), and we read through it last night. I was reading it out loud while my fiancé made dinner, and it just hit me that this is really happening.
