My company has PTO that expires every year on your anniversary date and I often find myself saving my PTO after it refreshes only to have a bunch of time to use at the end. What’s the best way to use up the time and make it count - take every Monday or Friday off for a while or take a week or two off for an extended trip or staycation?

What are your companies doing for covid now? Are you expected to just use sick time or is there separate paid time that can be used for vaccines, testing and time needed if you are sick and get positive results?

I literally cannot stomach to be around my in laws any longer. My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

Husband is a multi sport coach and gone a lot in season, I work in corp banking. Thinking about getting a travel trailer since I camp alone with the kids a lot in the summer, spring and fall for quick weekends. Does anybody do this where you take, maybe 1 day, to create multiple 3 day weekends scattered throughout the year for little trips instead of taking vaca in longer stints? Do you feel more refreshed with lots of smaller trips, or more with a few long trips? Kids are 1 & 3.
