My leaders (SVP, ECD,) say I'm doing a great job (been in my first in-house role for 10 months). The brand team is always frustrated with my team and complaining that things "aren't were like they were with the old team. We support 3x the load as the old team(previous team everyone was there 7+ years no one had agency experience and we have less people). ELT says concept work is way better. Brand complains about sell sheet level stuff Idk, I kinda want to quit and am tired of hearing 2 stories.

Hi SpEd Teachers, is anyone else facing EXTREME staff shortages as a result of state funding? We are not able to meet my students' IEP requirements (not even close) due to not enough paraprofessionals and the district flat out refusing to hire more. I've lost 70+ hrs/week of para hours over the past few years and my students are really suffering. This leaves our district open to lawsuits, but the real problem is the state's education budget. I’m currently a 2nd year associate in commercial finance. I’ve realized I don’t enjoy a a strictly transactional practice. I enjoyed litigation matters as a summer (particularly the adversarial nature). Also, love talking and advising clients. I don’t want the litigation lifestyle and appreciate the in-house opportunities of transactional. Assuming that I could switch (or lateral), I’m thinking I may enjoy employment (and the ability to defend and train/advise). I appreciate any insight.

How do you deal with a Midlevel who tells the partner you’ll cover for them, but gives you less than 24 hours notice they’ll be gone without asking if you can cover?
