My mother is getting targeted in a scam. The scammers are not that sophisticated but they did some reconnaissance. They called my sister asking to notify my mother to call them back claiming to be the town’s sheriff department. They wanted a couple thousand dollars via cashier check bc of supposed skipped jury duties. They have a dedicated phone number. Anything I can do to get these guys?

This question may not be related. However I wanted to know from personal and family point of view how it is like to relocate from India and live abroad .
Let's say Family consists of husband , wife and a kid . I understand we will get good facilities, education, cleanliness , good air etc , however I wanted to check whether people gel up easily in the new environment? Don't they feel loneliness/ difficult to adjust? Do they look for similar asian nationalities to kill boredom?

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? My coworker is sure this is the case, but I honestly think there's actually something deeper wrong either with how these people are being raised as children, or how the warning signs these people give off are ignored or swept under the rug to save face.
