How does one find a headhunter?
My one and only

Hello Sharks, I recently gave interview of Tiger Analytics and after all successful technical discussion, they were offering me Senior analytics - data Science role for 15.5 fixed + 2L jb, considering my current yoe 4.3 and in data science relevant is not much(consider it 1.5+) but my cctc is 14(13fixed+1 variable), I denied to accept this offer. Should I reconsider that?

Can you put on headphones and find something to listen to too?
Some headphones can be noise cancelling without needing to play any sound through them.
Wear noise cancelling earbuds to cancel out the noise. Another reason I WFH. I don't want to hear others' music, fights on the phone, loud customer calls, etc
Yes, that would be very dramatic.
Get a new spot. You need your own focus and if you have noise sensitivity- it’s not getting any better anytime soon. I’m not sure being fixed to plug your own ears is the right thing. It is a touch dramatic but 🤷🏼♂️
Since you're a manager, you should ask for your own cubicle. Maybe that will help!
We have an open plan, no cubicles for anyone. I kinda like it, but yeah it'd help with this situation for sure.

Yup, that will sort itself out. Need to tell him to get some over ear headphones to try and save his ears if he really needs to crank it that loud…
You can put your own headset on and listen to whatever you want
I don't like to listen to music when I wokr
If you don't want to listen to anything at all, here are a couple of options.
I like using earplugs. I use the cheap, drugstore kind. They block about 20-30 decibels. You can still hear things around you, but it will muffle about 20-30 decibels.
It might be worth a try.
Another option: wear earbuds or headphones but don't turn them on. It muffles a small bit of sounds, but it's something.
I’ve often put my noise canceling headphones on and not played anything. The silence is just what you need sometimes
Can we stop normalizing inconsiderate behavior?
Sure, but I think me asking him to reduce the volume is kind of a clue.
They allow you to listen to music during work hours, wow!
In Nigeria, HR will query you for misconduct. Except, if you are working remotely, we don't really play or listen to loud music during work hours if it's an on-site job.
Noise cancelling ear buds…
