The manager said I had to leave the job in 2 days and the company can only play 2 weeks of work. Is it normal how they do that?

living at home with my parents and they both tested positive for covid this week. I haven’t felt so great this past week, and I’ve most probably caught it from them. What holiday party did you get?
Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.

Is consulting in NL actually tougher work than industry?

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment. We got a faint positive today but have had so many chemical pregnancies over the past year that I am not confident it will stick this time BUT I am on aspirin and progesterone for this try … so it could.. I want to see if I could negotiate being eligible earlier but I also don’t want them to think I’m pregnant when I’m not actually… How would you approach the conversation?

Can we still negotiate with company A Or B to get top up from X+3 to make a clear decision to choose over one other.

Why is it that those in IB can’t get an MBA and return to IB the way people from other industries have returned post-MBA?
