My therapist called me charismatic and I cried about being so toxic that I was afraid to hurt my family because of my selfishness. Then immediately cried harder and recounted the most painful incident in the last 2 years for me - one I did something I am ashamed of, and he said I was being too hard on myself. Then apologized to my therapist for going over time by 4 minutes. Finally feel better.

Therapy in consulting at end of week - are they only for me? Or can people relate to this?

Like most every teacher in the country, I am stressed out, exhausted, and barely functioning by the weekend. I do school work in the evenings and on weekends and I'm still miles behind. During the pandemic I dove into my self care (found a therapist, learned I was having seizures and got on meds for that). My journey has been difficult and not pretty to watch. Just found out that my favorite aunt, who claimed I was her “favorite” niece, chose to leave all her valuables to her other two nieces who never visited or called her once in the last ten years.
