My utilization has been so low since COVID closed off the offices. Should I be worried? Should I reach out to my relationship/career coach? Change to another group/line of service??

Utilization, I believe, is universally the primary metric leadership looks at when putting people on the chopping block. If you don’t have a good reason for your low utilization, I am afraid it won’t reflect well on you.

However, if you hound people and keep that email trail, you make be able to show initiative and spare yourself. If may also get you onto another project!

If you are currently not staffed and need chargeable work, DM me.

@OP - I believe it’s been announced that utilization during the virus pandemic period won’t be taken into account. I forget the dates of the top of my head. However, if your utilization was already poor before shit hit the fan and you are still unstaffed, I would be worried.

Yeah just change lines of service

Haha yeah I’ve been told the same 😅 I just don’t feel it with tax regs, so thought audit could be a better choice for me in the long run. Might stick it through I guess

The firm I’m at wants us at 90% utilization in quarantine. 😂😂😂😂

Is 70-75 for the whole year or just during quarantine?

Last night BF and I went out to dinner since neither of us wanted to cook. We were having an enjoyable evening and ran into a former co-worker and her husband who I have not seen since before COVID. Ex co-worker made this odd scene about my "glow up" and even posted to social media a picture she insisted both couples take.
Anyone else ever find themselves in a similar situation?

Got covid from the UK , double vaxxed , and symptoms are wildly atrocious. Everyday I have different issues. I went from no fever to 102.4 in a couple of minutes. Blood oxygen dropped dangerously low and bounced back in a few minutes. Chills , cold sweats. My newest one is that my legs are so achey and sore it feels like they were beaten with a bat , just nonstop pain and can’t sleep. Anyone else experience these? Pretty sure I’d be hospitalized at a minimum without the vax

Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

Hi all,
I graduated during Covid with a double major in business administration and business management with a minor in marketing and magically ended up in sales because I needed a job. I’m about to take a data analytics course to make an attempt to break into that field. I’m currently looking for a mentor to help guide me during this time. Also, if anyone is willing to look over my resume and give me tips on how to make it more presentable for recruiters in DA that would be very helpful. Thanks

Hello,

I am a 3rd year insurance defense attorney with product and premise liability experience. Due to long-COVID, I am likely to lose my job.

The plan is to find a government position that would involve more substantive litigation and trial work, then leverage that into the private sector a few years down the line.

Any advice would be appreciated regarding networking, where to start, etc. Thank you.

Hello everyone.

This is a thank you post.

I am working as a Data Scientist with 5.6 yrs of experience in DS/ML.

My current CTC was 12.6 LPA and after switch, I got 32.2 LPA (30 fixed).

So I would like to thank everyone who posts comments and share their experiences. This helps a lot to understand the current market scenario and whether they are underpaid or not.

Please, share your thoughts as am thinking that moving to CBS we will lose some perks.
