Hello Deloitte 🐠 20 YOE. Have referral for a content and marketing M role in cybersecurity -- the focus of my career pivot. Submitted my application today, but my referrer isn't in Cyber. Interested to widen my Deloitte Cyber network to get my resume in front of a human, since ATS has no vision or imagination. If you're willing to connect, please DM. So far, made it several interview rounds into roles with EY and Accenture. Optimistic, but want to be as proactive as possible. Thanks!

Hi Folks,
My wife has 5 years of experience in Banking Industry now she want to switch her career in IT, she has worked as coding instructor for html/css/js/react native, she has React certification as well. Now she is ready to take interviews.
Now how to convey this to recruiters and are they ok to take interview for frontend developer, how much experience can be considered and what salary can be expected?
I will be interviewing with Bloomberg L.P - FI Pricing next week. I was wondering if someone here could help with tips and guides.
I am new to LeetCode (LC) and competitive programming. Bloomberg tagged questions on LC are too numerous that I get overwhelmed.
I will be very grateful if you can help with areas of focus for Bloomberg L.P - FI Pricing phone interview questions.
Thank you in advance

True ^^
As someone heavily involved in recruiting, I strongly recommend your wife contact the recruiter and ask for more time. Tell them whatever you have to, tell them a significant personal situation arose so you have to delay, whatever, but do not go in under prepared.
There is literally no downside to delaying if possible, and it does not effect your chances at all. Delay, take it seriously, prepare properly.
I would just tell the recruiter the truth that you need more time to prep. Totally understandable and most internal recruiters take pride in sourcing good candidates

Best to just ask recruiting to push out the interview by 6-8 weeks, and have enough time to prep. Unlikely to be an issue.
PrepLounge was incredibly helpful for me. Getting to practice in a zero stakes environment with internet strangers was very helpful for helping me get to cases
Why don’t you just case with her?
Do you really need to know how to case at that level? Wouldn’t industry expertise be far more relevant?
Everyone needs to be able to nail cases - it’s table stakes unfortunately.

First interview is usually a recruiter screen that doesn’t require preparation.
Have her reach out to her alma mater - they should have career services that could help her
Thanks everyone! I will help her with preping for this. She is real nervous. Gotta pump up that confidence:)
Thank you for the advice. I have passed it on to her.
Wait is it actually a case or just a phone screen? Your first interaction with recruiter will never be a case. More of a tell me about x experience and why McK? It is definitely pass or fail but no casing required. That said do get her to start casing asap so she's ready for next round but when I recruited i had at least a month between phone screen and first phone case.
Wow that's much faster than my process lol is it for a specialized role?
