Associate Manager is probably the equivalent of an SC year 2 or 3. I would think 140 is pushing it. That is the top of the sc band. If she get that expect very little in the terms of increases until she makes manager
140+ is the strategy MBA salary...does she have that?
140+ is going to top out SC band. I would expect her to go up for manager within 1-2 years
Thank you all. This is helpful. Being offered 15% signing bonus- is that the typical %? Was thinking more between 20-25%.
Bay Area yea, Boston not as much. Really depends on where projects are being sold, so she’ll more than likely have to travel at some point so I would prepare for that.
If she’s an associate manager then she’s part of our CDO track which are the folks that get paid the least. Assuming first year AM then her salary doesn’t break 100k (over 100k if year 2/3). Advise her to counter offer but know that 125k is a great bump considering current salary
125k is good and also our levels don’t match with Accenture. Not sure what the difference between associate manager and M is for you guys either. As everyone else has said 140k is getting close to the top of the pay band for SC, which tops out around 160k for MBA campus hires
@Op yes typical and pretty good. What is she making now?
She’s at $108k, no MBA, but 5 years of experience in Digital
We are desperate for salesforce people so they night pay up. Also sounds like not actually Accenture digital.
As others have pointed out she will get get good bonuses if performance is well but salary increases will be small since 130 is getting close to the top
Targeting Boston and the Bay Area - any local work in those cities?
Does she have an MBA? If so and from good school, she may have a case. Otherwise 140k is unlikely
Yeah I’d push for a nice signing bonus, prob won’t get much more than 125. Associate manager isn’t even part of consulting at Accenture, it’s their services or internal services level, so it’s even a harder sell.
What technology as a senior consultant?
Honestly, she’d prob get a much higher offer in industry. Friend at JPMC in Digital got 140 base.
@Op 125k and a10-15% is good. Was she specifically at Accenture digital?
I’m hoping we can counter with $130k and 20% signing. If base lowers, will look for a higher signing bonus.
Aligned to Technology, specifically Salesforce at ACN
Good to know! Also, does compensation change in Deloitte based on location?
@Op not really. What cities is she thinking? Also she will more than like be traveling close to 100% of the time, most weeks mon-thur
