If that's the way you feel, then sure, you should be finding another job. For future reference, it would be good to realize that people come and go in any workplace. It's not healthy to get too attached to a coworker, as they may leave for any reason at any time. Make your job about what happens between you and your work.
Serious OP, you aren’t suppose to have any human emotion. Your only value is what you can give the firm and it sounds like thinking about you personal relationships is getting in the way of turning Counsel 1’s comments.
Do you have a spouse at home outside of work?

Find another job first but yes
First, sounds like if you’re putting in 80 hour weeks you should already be looking to move. Second, if your firm puts lawyers in cubicles, you should already be looking to move. Third, if you feel like it’s hard to do your job without venting to your work spouse, you should already be looking to move. Fourth, if all these reasons aren’t good enough, you should know that if you’re actually close to them, you can still vent to your work spouse. In my experience, it’s even more fun when you got stories from two different firms.
Remember you can always start grooming the replacement new person to be your work spouse. Well, grooming isn’t the right word… but you know what I mean. Just be careful they’re not a brand new lawyer just out of law school, they’re almost always super loose and word inevitably gets around.
All the above is from experience, except for the cubicle thing. I’ve been through this, it sucks but I’m sure you’ll get through this. Good luck!
I’m sorry that happened. You can do anything you put your mind to do within your limits of knowledge.
The real question presented here is: Do you want to stay? Only you know you and only you can answer the question.
80 hour week’s and sitting in a cubicle?
