Need Advice

I’m 5 years out of undergrad and a Manager in advisory. Im faced with the decision of pivoting to IB at an analyst level or going get my masters in finance and committing to the bval career path. I’d be pursuing masters at a t10 program for the network / name brand as my ug was a state school and pretty weak. Can someone offer me some advice? I’m uncertain how I should navigate this.

Master in Finance programs generally place people at the entry level. Is there no way for you to lateral? This would be the preferred method so you don't lose time

Given your work experience I think MBA is a better fit here.

Why IB?

What do you want to do with your life?

Private credit. Should I pursue the MSF and try to recruit into a small pc shop?

Hi!! I’m an HR Coordinator currently (about two years of experience) but my job has so many responsibilities and tasks I’m beyond burnt out. It’s truly impossible to focus on one task because things are constantly being thrown my way. I’ve heard whisperings of a promotion or raise, but my workload is already too much, I don’t know if I’d want to accept more responsibility. Is it normal to feel like you have just as many responsibilities as your superiors who make 30k+ more than you?
