Not all startups are made equal. Plenty have long runways and/or have raised funding in preparation for the storm. If the role is secure enough, I’d still take it if it’s your only offer.

Sounds like you’re still very early in your career, and hiccups do happen. Don’t sweat it as you’ll grow much stronger from there. Think about it as stepping back to launch to something better
You will be just fine. I’d take it as a lesson learned in terms of your level of risk aversion and vetting future employment opportunities. Any time you make a move (most especially to a startup) you are opening yourself up to considerable risk in exchange for a potentially considerable upside.
How much risk are you willing to accept? Only you can answer that question, but being early in your career you have more room to take risks. I wish you well.
