Pipeline + managing multiple engagements simultaneously throughout the year

like

I think the answer to this is always sales and pipeline. I know you will hear about firm initiatives, counseling, blah, blah, blah.....but really it is about what you did for the partners pocketbooks, so good sales years normally always get the Director promos pushed through.

^this. And start your case now. Get your coach and more importantly your 'sponsoring' Partner now and work towards your case all year. It will include goals around pipeline, sales, and managed projects. Along with internal activities. In my group, the managers who will be up for it will already be 'acting' as a director all year. Invited to certain meetings, and given certain roles/responsibilities.

Hi Everyone,
I need your views and suggestions. I have two doubts:
1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
2. If I have to make a switch do I really have to target big brands only or can try for medium and small size companies too.
