Hiring question - do you think you get a job at big 4 without a college degree? For example, someone dropped out of college after 2 years and acquired a few certs and a couple of years experience

Hearing of layoffs with some Chicago agencies. MSL...Porter...Ketchum...others? Sign of bad economy coming? Hate to sound skittish, but I lived through 2008

Does MBB provide breaks around the Christmas/NY time frame similar to B4?

How is the Business Operations (BO) team at ZS?
Particularly at AC level.

I have couple of more questions:
1. WLB as I have heard is pretty pathetic at ZS. Is it same in BO team as well?
2. Salary range for the AC role? (I have 3+ years of experience post MBA, before MBA 0 years, transitioning from big 4)
3. Any on-site opportunities?
4. How are other perks at the organisation? (Apart from fixed pay)

Need some suggestions: My current company is on a layoff spree and 2 rounds are already done and I can foresee another round coming very soon.

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.

What other reasons can I give as I’ve just completed 9 months here and it’s too soon for any other company to take me in.

I have $20k in savings, I owe $6,000 to my 401k loan, that’s the only loan I got. I am debt free otherwise except for my house. Should I use my savings to pay off? Since people are talking about unemployment and being fired, I wanted to make sure I have enough, 👩🏾‍💻... What should I do? I initially took the loan to add to my home equity when I sell my house for a new house then covid hit.

Targeting 2022 matriculation and will be recruiting for tech. Currently at IBM tech consulting and have an offer to lateral to non-D big 4 tech advisory. What’s the best move for both MBA application and MBA recruiting - stay or leave? TIA.

Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. I'm probably going to bill 1,500 hours max this year due to being very slow and taking time off for a delayed honeymoon which I disclosed during my interview process. Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?

My external recruiter called me and said that he received a very good feedback on me and they are interested but he is not sure about time frame as its a Christmas time and they need to approve with commercial etc so he is not sure that they will proceed before Christmas.
