Why would you expect anything after half a year?
Rising Star
Because itll be 19 months before they get a raise
Pro
Ideally you should take enough of an increase when you switch jobs that missing an annual merit raise isn’t a big deal. It’s usually the case that if you have <6mo tenure at raise/promotion season you won’t be eligible. Not a reason to switch jobs
True ty I need that it’s been like seven months overall
What does only worked more than a half year mean?
How much do you currently make relative to market roles comparable to yours? If you're within 10%, I'd say no personally, but if it's significantly different, you may consider looking for a new job. Like in most things in life, it depends is the answer.
I would say the pressure is different for each jobs but yes at least I should test the market
At half a year in you’ve probably just now reached the point where your productivity matches your pay. Also not sure you have a good handle on the market.
Wait until you hit a year
Not all individuals get raises after a probationary period, although its common. That is tied to a review, which I assume you haven't gotten. Evaluations and raises should be expected every year. Before you consider switching, you should find out what your employer thinks of your work, hopefully through an evaluation. And you should also ask yourself how you feel working for this employer. Money isn't everything. And its possible there is money and growth where you are at. Hopefully you asked some of these questions before taking the job in the first place, at least in terms of growth opportunities.
Thank you and not yet received anything
Why would you switch
Higher prices and low salary
Unless you are dealing with a toxic environment, no. The market is not very strong right now for employees, and if a change in work structure is happening, companies are moving to greater (not less) office presence. It would be okay to start talking with recruiters so you can prepare for a change next year if things do not look like you are in the long-term growth opportunity for your career goals.
