Is WFH permanent at SDC?
Hi fishes! My spouse is planning to go to India but we would need to get her visa stamped before coming back. I see that getting appointment is such a huge problem right now. Can we get her visa stamped from a different country? In this case, we were considering Qatar, she grew up there and has her brother there. For what it’s worth she qualifies for Dropbox in India. How do I find out if Qatar works in our case?Deloitte

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Congrats! More PTO>more $
Who?
M1 please be cognizant of your audience and read the room.
Higher turnover rate than a restaurant and they’re just now matching PTO numbers that most F500 companies had 10 years ago.
Maybe when turnover gets worse they’ll bump it to meet the industry standard.
I know right that’s why I’m excited. Moving from 10 pto days to 15 with an extra floating holiday. Confused as to what the law is around rolling over pto days from year to year or what the payout is if you leave your job. It says “where state law is applicable, payout will be capped at 5 days”

Most states don't mandate the payout of accrued PTO. Recently learned this, but basically they're only going to pay you for 5 days regardless of how much you have left when you leave the firm.
They probably don't allow you to take PTO after you put in your 2 weeks, so keep this in mind when you start your exit.
Trying to help fight that 30%+ turnover rate eh?
Haha I suppose that’s what it is. What else could can a company do to keep attrition low?
Very good point! What other benefits would you recommend to get at to reduce attrition?
