1. How do I pick between a Roth vs a traditional IRA?
2. Once I hit the max of $6k - only then do I focus on brokerage account?

I was approached by an external recruiter about Houlihan Lokey TAS at a senior level (SVP / Director). No specific comp ranges discussed yet, but I hear bonuses are massive. Not sure if anyone has insights at that level as most posts are for analyst / associates - thoughts?

Also hearing about a lot of turnover at senior levels - for people who work there, what's the story? Is it a leadership problem or just limited to offices?

When do you think associates are usually let go in small practice groups that are currently being overwhelmed with work? Is it when it starts to slows down or when they already have a candidate to replace you? Just trying to figure out how long I have after annoying a partner 😂.

I am on the brink of quitting my consulting gig. I had a good record up until this project, where I really struggle and have a very disengaged team and highly political and bureaucratic client. I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do?
