I need one suggestion, I am staying in a PG which is charging me a huge rent but refusing to provide me a rent agreement. My last organization only required me to upload landlord’s Pan and rent receipts to claim for HRA exemption but here in ZS the HR told that we would be required to compulsorily provide rent agreement.
Can we create our own rent agreement or can we claim HRA exemption in ZS only by uploading rent receipts? Or the only option I am left with is to change my PG?
