I'm looking for an HR Director role.
I'm currently a Senior HR Manager (because the Ops Director didn't want another Director In the payroll) overseeing 4 facilities & 3 companies. I have 1 HR Manager, 3 HR Generalists, 1 Recruiter, 2 EHS Coord, and 3 EHS Leads reporting to me.
I have over 15 years in HR, an MBA, PHR & SHRM-CP certifications & experience in healthcare, retail, logistics, & manufacturing.
I'm in Texas and willing to relocate to San Antonio, College Station & Houston.
Thank you.
Chicago
Non-chain: Langham, Peninsula
Chain: Park Hyatt (just reopened), Ritz
These are my favorites. Park Hyatt just renovated, will be there in October. Peninsula is great as well.
Trump hotel in Chicago is nice
In all fairness, it is a great hotel. Stayed there before Trump was a well known madman and they gave me a really nice suite upgrade.
Nobu Chicago
Nobu is dope but a friend had a $1,200 purse stolen there
Hotel Nia in Menlo Park
Rising Star
If Marriott, Ritz in Chicago, St Regis in SF
If not, there are a bunch of great options in Chicago
Rising Star
Yep unfortunstely
The Dana Hotel now called Eurostars was one of my favorites
Nooooooooooooo 😭 that makes me so sad
In SF, all the best hotels are in the crappiest part of the city: downtown/Union Square.
Some good hotels and their neighborhood:
The Argonaut in North Beach
Hotel Drisco in Pacific Heights
Hotel Kabuki in Fillmore
As a creative suggestion I’ll add Cavallo Point Lodge and The Inn Above Tide in Sausalito across the GG bridge.
London House in Chicago
St Regis in SF was where I stayed multiple times for work. Location was pretty solid too. Would definitely recommend
