For PwC fishes who left recently, how did you consolidate wealth builder into 401k within benefits express to avoid the 20% federal tax withholding that was described in the benefits package? I tried to do this online but it didn’t show as an option except to rollover to an existing IRA or take a final distribution. Do I need to call benefits express?
How hands-on are you in scrum meetings?

Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

How much do you make now?
Controller roles should be much more $ than what you’re seeing
Ey1 you would think but I asked a friend who recently moved to private and said only 90-95k is what heaves as controller
As someone from Michigan as well, there’s a lot of small manufacturing type companies that pay way below market. These jobs are comparable to an accounting manager role at a more mid sized company
Also from Michigan, I left PwC to go to a consulting firm in September last year. I went from 65k salary to 90k plus a garuenteed 30k bonus each year for two years.
Not only did my work life balance improve drastically, but if you are not assigned to a client you are considered to be on "the bench" meaning, full salary and benefits, but you do whatever you want to do. They only ask that you do something meaningful/productive to you even if that if focusing on mental health. I was on the bench from September to December, so I was able to get paid and do my CPA while still having a life outside of studying.
The opportunities are out there.
May I ask where you are?
That’s weird I left big 4 and got a 40% pay bump
