Our organization does a great job at caring for our clients, not so much the staff, especially the entry level positions. There’s no staff appreciation days, awards, etc. When events are planned with high level partnerships, only mid to senior level employees are invited, some of them are $250 - $400 per plate. Our staff gets abused verbally and physically by those they care for. There is no follow up with them after an incident. The bilingual (Spanish) staff is particularly affected by this.

Anyone else get frustrated when the partner brags about their billable hour amount for the month? Like congrats, you get to bill .2 for each piece of mail. You also get .2 for every letter your secretary types up as a "form letter" you never even look at. As an Associate, I don't get those easy/automatic hours.

Ideas to deal with micromanager who has just been layered
