Friends, I have 11+ years of experience and have been selected for a L5 Non Tech PM role. Amazon is offering me 24 base + 8 SB + 200 RSUs. I will have to relocate to South India (from Delhi) for this and probably the offer may not cater to my expenses. AM I BEING LOW BALLED ? as the HR says this is the max capping for the role.Amazon Amazon India Also, how difficult is it to apply internally and clear a L6 interview (after i join Amazon)
Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase
Hi all, Recently i interviewed at Adobe for the post of computer scientist, Noida location. Had 5 technical rounds, but after that i didnt get any further response. One of HR called me and asked me to wait for a day or 2 last week, she gave me the reason that there are some issues going on in company. It's been 2 weeks now and i haven't got any response from them, i have been following up on mail and call, but there is no response either. What could be the reason ?? Any adobe folk out there ??

You should ask the recruiter where the demand is...
Am not in touch with a recruiter unfortunately...cold resume drop
Boston and NY very competitive. Just offer to relocate.
NYC is by far the largest so probably your best bet all else being equal
I’m happy to relocate - however postings are office specific. Wondering which I should post (city) I should apply to. I’ve heard NYC is tough, is that true @OW1? What about SF and Chicago?
Your best chances are probably NYC.
With Chicago being 2nd, correct?
NYC is biggest office with most business. SF is high demand low supply of business.
Thanks guys - if anyone is feeling extra generous and wants to review resume/share tips on the process, let me know 😄
Is Boston one of the options? Boston takes a good number of CCG as well. I don't know about the Chicago office.
Yeah Boston is an option. So is SF, Chicago, NYC, and a couple others I can’t remember off the top of my head
Feel like I’ll be competing against all Ivy League kids out of Boston office lol (I didn’t go to an Ivy)
Boston and Chicago have a better culture IMO
You'll be competing against all ivy league kids out of any office.
I’d just like to put myself in a position to be able to secure a 1st rd interview, I like Chicago and NYC (seems like SF is out the question). Between the two, is the consensus that I should shoot for NYC (wish I could factor culture in but I feel like I don’t have that option. Thankfully, OW is know for its good culture as a firm)
Fair point SC1. Thanks for the tips guys, wish me luck. Hope to see you all on the other side some day
