Pie experiment. Just got a jar of fig chili jam and thinking of what yo do with it. Had a scrap of pie crust left from Thanksgiving, so did a mini galette with the jam and a Granny Smith apple. Crust came out a little ragged but it was delicious and so simple.

This could be a great last minute dessert with store bought pie crust. If you cut the apple slices very thin, it doesn’t take long to bake.

My boyfriend recently asked me what do I miss the most about India? I had to think before replying food. Tbh I really don’t miss a lot except maybe the festivals
