Trying to move from Tier 2 Consulting to FAANG. 3 YoE, fast career, close to getting to PM.
However, I'm having trouble moving to FAANG and other top tech companies - I'm not even passing the screening phase. Any advice or recommendation?

But I also have offers from Deloitte and EY to be a GPS consultant at ~100k. Is it worth it to move to D or EY? Hello, I was recently let go from my firm for not being able to pass the series 10 exam. I passed the 9 and have my SIE, 7, and 63. Are there any jobs out there that require the 9 but not the 10? All the jobs I can find require them both but I’d like to use my 9. Thanks for any advice!

I have been working in healthcare clinics and health techs for a few years now. I’m an independent consultant. Bust, a friend of mine referred me to a big bank job. The role is of data governance manager. What should I know for the interview, or how can I prepare for it? Any thoughts? They told me I don’t need financial background. Data is data, but they wanted to know metadata management and how do I build frameworks/implement enterprise systems.

Does your company split data science roles into different practices like data & analytics and software engineering? Does this inhibit collaboration & Where does a data engineer fall?

Anyone know of an alternative to StackOverflow for asking tech questions? The community is super toxic and I'm looking for a place I can casually ask questions that might seem dumb without being hrangued for not providing an essay proof of the research I've already done. Or some sort of buddy system where I can ping a person of relevant experience those questions. It's better to poke someone's brain for a minute than to spin in circles reading docs/dead end articles sometimes.
