I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

I honestly hope not. It could be a painful question for someone to answer.
Survive, hopefully.
Oversaw my teams shift to virtual.
Going into this transition I knew collaboration, efficiency, and accountability would be the big pitfalls.
Efficiency was easy. We were able to get buy-in internally on sending equipment home. By the next day we were able to mirror our team's work setup in their homes. Dual monitors, mice, keyboards, whatever else they needed.
I handled accountability and collaboration by introducing a 2x daily check in, with each team member taking a 1 week turn running the check in and owning our PM tool.
Our team has maintained workload without missing a beat. We've had thanks conveyed from many clients. We had ~16% of our clients pause, 8% heavy up, and 24% consider pulling back but choose not to based on our responsiveness. The rest are business as usual.
All in all I gotta say I'm looking forward to answering that question :)
That's a good point. It's certainly a rough time, probably should have 'turned off' before putting that out there.
Best wishes to all affected.
Uhmmm stayed at home?
