Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

I had a recruiter request this once. I told him to tell them I was happy to do it if, should they choose not to hire me, they would pay me for my work at my freelance rate since the “writing test” was not for a mock client.
Needless to say, I didn’t get that job. On the bright side, I also didn’t waste a weekend on the plan
I declined to do this the one time I was asked. The recruiter tried to tell me it was "normal" and to be expected. After more than 15 years in agencies, I disagree. Ask me for a media strategy outline, or a press release written within x minutes - but don't ask me for a plan, analysis, or presentation for your current client. And while we're on the subject, don't ask me for confidential plans or other private documents I produced for my past/current clients, which would force me to violate personal and professional ethics practices.
Bill it as freelance?
They should pay, especially if the decide to use the ideas and not hire her
It’s SWOT. We do an abbreviated version of this as part of our interview process as do many of our competitors. It is never used for the client.
