Heres a question for you to ask: assuming the interview goes well by your estimation, ask “From our conversation and what you know about me, are there any concerns that might lead you to not hire me?” Asked in a curious, humble way and not in a supremely confident way, it’s disarming and gives people a chance to level with you. They may answer honestly or dodge the question. But at least you asked so can calibrate your expectations.
