Any tips on how to start and prepare my MBA Application? I don’t plan on applying till 2022 as I want to attend in 2023. What are things I can do to prepare now in order to have a strong application? Background: I’m aiming for HSW, M7, and top 15. I’m currently a Staff at EY within Business Consulting. I graduated from a Top 25 Business Undergrad - majoring in Finance and minor in Advertising with a 3.71 GPA. I want to pivot towards PM or Corporate Strategy in Tech, at Toyota, or Nike. TIA!

Prince 2 if you're in Europe/UK/Australia, PMP in the US.
That presupposes that you're in an industry where those sorts of certifications matter at all.
Rising Star
Just do what interests you. Not sure anything on its own makes you a more appealing candidate or increases your comp, all it shows is dedication and interest.
For example, if you do strategy in the P&C industry, getting a CPCU might show that you've taken the time to learn the ins and outs of underwriting.
Best thing you can do in strategy is go deep in an industry and broad in your tool set.
This isn’t a helpful answer for most people…but Prince 2 because it’s the one I don’t recognize. I literally skip any resume that has PMP on it because the people who get PMPs are the type of people who would get a PMP
Pro
I hope you don’t skip over resumes that have PMP on it if the job description asks for it because that would be incredibly fucked up. Personal opinion over what is being asked for is bad hiring practice.
