Cellphone is bought by you, but service is paid for by the firm. This also means that you can take the phone with you, unlock it after 2 years, sell it, etc. Phones come with a really good discount We can take out number with us when we leave.
Jeans in the office is ok. If our clients wear jeans, then we can too.
They don’t pay for gym memberships but we can earn cash for working out during the month.
We also have student loan paydown $100/month. 5 year benefit or stops when you make manager
For candidates with similar qualifications & work experience, Pwc pays more than ey....
I have worked for both EY and PWC. While benefits are similar, EYs health insurance is better and covers more and their retirement 401k program is better. EY also gives phone, health and commuter benefits which are more robust that PwC. Jeans every day.
Ey 4 that was a one time payout not a yearly wellness bonus.
Pwc has free phone for the moment, jeans every day, no fitness plan I know of
Dang too bad I’d promote to manager after 1 year with the firm.
Doesn’t Pwc have an across the board 20k manager bonus? Ey is 6,500
Is this 20K bonus true? Also what do annual bonuses look like?
20k bonus now only applies if you’re a new hire or experienced associate hire if memory serves
So if I come in as an experienced senior and promote the next year no bonus?
Also I would do more research on healthcare depending on your needs pwcs offerings may not be what you expect
@OP I think so yeah
You would still get your normal bonus (which a manager annual bonus isn’t something to shake a stick at), just not the supplemental 20k bonus
What is the annual manager bonus?
Depends on your rating, but can range 6-18% of your previous year salary
If you get promoted to manager, you get the promotion bonus which you get on April next year. For new hires, this is now lower than 20%.
Then there is also the annual performance bonus that is based on tiering. This one gets paid on September.
Used to be 25k #ThanksTim
So no promo bonus for experienced hires? That doesn’t make much sense.
It was never 25k. It used to be 25%. Now it’s 20% if you started with the firm and apparently being phased out completely
And yeah, it’s a reward for growing your career with pwc, not for coming to pwc right before they pay the new manager bonus.
