You’ll interview clients about the work they do. Type up memos explaining what their team did that qualified them for the credit. You’ll send a lot of emails reminding contacts to send over the required information. The calculation is very straightforward. After a while it gets mind numbing. If you want to do tax, don’t do it because there really isn’t much tax involved. If you want to be a consultant and don’t mind being in an extremely niche field that gets very repetitive quickly then go for it. You’ll develop great soft skills and project management skills. Pay is pretty decent and I would say culture is pretty nice too. Wlb is great as well.
When you say C suite? What is the skill learned? It’s just basic PM stuff? Would other consulting take you for just basic PM
I know someone who left this group and became a Pm , but the individual also did some digital acceleration stuff and learned coding on the side.
