Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I have heard that Goldman Sachs is rescinding offers of temporary contract workers. I have an offer letter from Goldman Sachs Bangalore for a full time permanent role and am already on notice period. There is still 2 months for the joining date. Is there a hiring freeze coming? If yes, will they rescind offers that have already been made? Goldman Sachs
Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

BAH will typically hire for availability on a contract. So you will be immediately staffed.
If that is not the case, or a contract falls through/if it wasn’t immediately billable upon hiring you would be looking for staffing opportunities once brought in and helping with internal work for the interim.
There is upward mobility and you can always look for new contracts within our firm to transition to.
Let me know if I misunderstood your ask, happy to clarify
I appreciate the insight that you shared. This is very helpful.

Not sure why you're tagging BCG, McK, EY, and PwC in a question about BAH...
We hire people in two ways, as either a capability hire or for a specific role on a contract (sold & funded or contingent).
If you're hired for a specific role, you'll be staffed in that particular role, but you are not required to stay in that role permanently. You are always free to look for other roles, contracts, and accounts in the firm. It's not uncommon to see people stay at the same client for a long time, but it's also not uncommon to see people jump around the firm. One of my colleagues has worked on contracts at 13 different clients spanning all three of our federal sectors over his ~25 years here. We typically want you in a role for at least a year before you start looking, but you are encouraged to look for opportunities to grow, wherever that takes you in the firm.
If you're a capability hire, you're hired to the bench and you will need to find your first role. Once in your first role, it's the same as I just mentioned.
So yes, it is pretty similar to Deloitte in that respect, though we generally have a better bench and more opportunities to move around and grow here than at Deloitte. We are somewhere around ~2-3x the size of GPS off the top of my head, and as a result, we have significantly more contracts and clients to choose from, though moving around the firm can be somewhat difficult if you don't put the legwork in.
I spent about a decade at GPS before coming here, happy to answer any questions you might have.
I appreciate the breakdown and insight, Chief. I tagged the other companies because folks may have the insight to share their previous work at BAH but now work at BCG and McK….
We also get more runway to be on the bench to find a good fit.
Thank you!
Why say QQ and then write out what it stands for in brackets..
Because not everyone is as smart as you, McKinsey & Company 1— (This is sarcasm, by the way). 😆
