I think some airlines block streaming call services on airplane Wi-Fi. This was our experience recently - included zoom, teams etc
I can barely get zoom to work in my basement 😂
I’ve had Zoom/Teams work for me on American and Alaska. The reception isn’t good but for listening to a class it’s probably ok.
On Viasat equipped planes (all of jetblue, most of American, some Delta planes), there is enough bandwidth for video streaming. Some of the airlines may block the services though, so there’s no guarantee that they will work correctly.
No video streaming doesnt work.
Maybe in future if starlink service is provided for airlines we can hope for real broadband level bandwidth. Currently its more like a dial up experience
Viasat equipped planes can stream video.
Not sure if it helps but WhatsApp definitely worked on Southwest. Not sure they have the bandwidth for zoom, seeing as streaming services definitely don’t work
I haven’t had luck with anything like video streaming. Maybe you could listen/audio only.

I’ve been able to listen in on teams meetings and see presentations pretty successfully on my delta flights. Just turn off my video and incoming video.
