Reading materials for Snr Strats planning their move up, what’s the one you read that made you go ‘aha’? I’ve read Good To Great and am ploughing through Good Strategy Bad Strategy but need something more marketing-specific to be clearer on how my strategy peers in agencies are thinking and working, and how my non-strat colleagues see the role. For context I’ve worked in agencies for twelve years but been a pure strategist for three, so missed any formal guidance in a lot of the ‘basics’.

Any insights on Scrum Master role in Adidas. I have 7 YOE. Current ctc is 13fixed +2variable. Adidas is offering 20 LPA. Is it wiser to switch or should I wait?

I’m a certified Health Coach (my training/courses are CCE-accredited by the International Coach Federation) w/ a BS in Psychology. I got a temp to hire starting at $18/hr. It is my first professional health coach job & they did not require temps to have a coaching certification, but I have one. I’d like to know if temps could negotiate salary when given the job offer. Any tips on leaving a firm “correctly”? Was about to go “of counsel” with my firm of 6 years, but then another firm whose partners I really respect (and personally like) offered me a partnership position. I predict my current bosses will *flip* (cut off file access immediately, try to beat me to calling my clients, etc.), so how do I set myself up for a successful transition?

I am currently in ID and wanting a miracle in-house position. I recently learned that the VP of Lit for an ins. carrier was promoted leaving her position open. I’m unsure if they’re planning to fill that vacant role. Less of a question, more of a request... stop asking your junior BIPOC strats to work on BLM briefs because they are the only voice of color on your team. In a time where we need support grappling with our very REAL realities and how it impacts how we show up in the agency, the LAST thing we need is an “opportunity” to express our “unique POV” on a diversity brief (that we won’t even get to speak to none the less). Imagine having to chanbel your trauma into a deck to sell in an idea to clients?
