I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? Strategy consultant or management consultant
Agreed. MBA grads come in as consultants. Don’t sell yourself short by applying as an analyst. Else you’ll get analyst pay too.
Our lowest level is Analyst. Progression looks like
Analyst > senior analysts > Consultant / Sr consultant > Manager.
Agree you should accept a role under consultant. In some practices, MBAs are hired as senior consultants. Some practices do consultant to Manager (skip the senior consultant title change altogether) . So coming in as consultant is fine too
