My current CTC 13 lpa/8 YOE, Python developer. Im selected for TCS, i told expected 25 lpa, she told we can give max 19 lpa, i told i have to think, she cut call, next day she told to join call to take screenshot with ID. It's been a week, they didn't send CTC break up, status is "evaluation in progress". They rejected me? Can I expect offer? TIA Tata Consultancy

I agree to document her actions but don’t go to HR unless it gets really bad. Sometimes this can backfire. Instead, ask your new manager for some guidance here. Your previous manager is likely taking her frustrations out on you because she’s going to be scrambling when you leave. Not saying totally cut her some slack but try to leave her team on a good note. Maybe ask her how you can help set her up with some level of success before you depart. Offering this kind of help might change her attitude and will def keep the bridge from burning should you ever have to work with her again.
Love that suggestion about what she needs from me, thank you so much for the advice!
For extra context: she knew I was applying to internal roles, we are a small team of four and another team member is going on maternity leave in November so I empathize with her from that perspective, I’ve truthfully never loved my current leader for various personal reasons rather than how she leads or works but nothing about my performance reviews reflects any performance issues. This current behavior is definitely dramatic and concerning, again any advice greatly appreciated.

So…pushing the date doesn’t make sense. Even for an internal role you get an offer letter. And on the offer, it says your start date and they are supposed to stick with that.
I would stay very professional, keep doing your job, and report her concerning behavior to HR. If you’re truly not dropping the ball or missing deadlines, then you have nothing to worry about. It sounds like she has no evidence to support her claims. Document every negative and concerning thing she does so that you have something sufficient to tell HR.

Yea they do work it out between themselves. But they need to decide before the offer is extended and stick with it. No one should be dragging out the original agreed upon date.

She sounds like she is panicking about having to replace your role — this is not your problem and as long as you have a negotiated the leave/start date (hopefully in writing) and making your best effort to complete a transition plan plan, there is not much she can do. Change is hard for everyone so try to be understanding and supportive (which will go a long way since this is an internal transfer), but hold to fulfilling the agreed upon terms and don’t go to HR - try to work this out with you manager.
