Use it as experience and lateral to a higher paying firm later.
Make me an offer and I’ll jump. I’m barred in two states. I’ve got a background in insurance coverage, environmental torts, products and straight negligence.
I would say it depends on the region and if it’s a HCOL area. 2K billable hour requirement would be very high for only $75k in CA, NYC, etc. but in a LCOL area in a state without state income tax it could be okay.
That salary could be ok starting point in Midwest if hours were lower. FWIW
It might be ok if your cost of living is low. Otherwise that’s a lot of work for not much money.
Started on that in ID in NYC with an even higher billable requirement; no harm negotiating. It’s good experience as long as you’re doing more than auto cases and trip and falls
Depends on location and year to be honest

Damn. That's a lot of work for not a lot of money.
Just accepted the same offer in a major city. I’m about a year into my career. Not a chance I’ll go for partner and am going to use it for experience to lateral later. I had to negotiate from $72 to $75 and it’s 2050 hours a year.
Depends on your location. My first gig out of law school was an insurance defense firm with billable requirement of 1,900 starting at $90,500. Mid Atlantic region.
