Received an offer from McKinsey, will be joining as an Associate. Background check was completed in October but no correspondence since then. I understand that it's a busy season for the HR folks, but is this common? Just getting impatient about the next steps (start date, signing bonus, visa sponsorship etc.) Any advice McK 🐠 ?

Colleague has put in his resignation. They are offering him whatever he wants to stay including 4days a week work from home. He’s not bluffing and plans to leave. However, at this same time I was asked to begin working as a supervisor for the engineering team and I would get a promotion at the beginning of the year. I have been supervising and managing our team of 6 for months with no extra pay or bonuses. I was told yesterday that raises will be light this year. Yet today they spare nothing.

I found using GoFormative’s free version to be very helpful in teaching new topics to my students. I embed videos I make demonstrating how to complete a question, next I ask them to complete an example showing work, and then the next question they type their answer so it automatically alerts them to see if they answered correctly. It can be used live in a meet and on an independent virtual day. In my google meets, I’m able to give feedback on any question they have trouble with in real time.

Pretty tired of always getting shamed for not having personal projects or other avenues of creativity.

Just got out of one of my final round interviews. It’s been over 8 weeks of prep. Got a little nervous and may have messed up on the case, PEI went okay. Have the other later this week.
