I have an offer from Walmart but I'm also interviewing at Meta. I'm midway through the Meta process but there's still a long way to go and I don't want to rush through it unprepared. Both are for a Data Scientist position. Any suggestions on how to deal with a situation like this? Walmart Facebook (Meta)

Oh wow. Although concurrently filed? That is a long timeframe
Concurrent is slower

Your AOS might take up to a year after you get your I-140 approved

This years not possible - maybe late next year

Most of your wait time will be for your I-485, even if concurrently filed. Doesn’t the I-140 only take 2 weeks with premium processing? That doesn’t give USCIS much time to process your AOS.
Pro
EB1C will have PP starting July for some
And I-485 cannot be premium processed I am
Assuming?
Pro
Yeah, it cannot be

Nope. Just to give you a sense of timelines, I applied in Dec 2020 and am still waiting on my AOS.
Timing really varies. I have 2 friends who both filed in Dec 2020. One still waiting, while one got green card on hand 6 months ago.
If it was filed with PP, the clock resets to another 15 days. They are required to adjudicate on RFEs within 15days because you filed under PP. Else, they will just use RFEs to avoid the 15day requirement
Not filed with PP. can I bump the RFe submission to PP?
Pro
If you meet the PP criteria for EB1C yes after 7.1
Assuming no premium processing for your case, it’s normally 30-60 days for a decision after submitting the RFE response. And, then, several months on your AOS to be adjudicated. RFEs on EB-1(c) petitions are extremely common and are rarely denied (in my experience).
Thank you. I got my EAD with AP already. Does that mean AOS will be faster?
How detailed was your RFE response? And did USCIS approve it after your RFE submission?
Yes approved in 2 days. No idea how detailed it is.
