I have managed to get a work permit and visa for Germany as a dependant. I am currently working in India and my notice period in my current job is 3 months which i suppose will not be acceptable in Germany. I am keen on moving to Germany only after getting a job there without resigning before i get a confirmed job there. How long does it take for H1b to get approve from the date the lawyer mailing in the petition? We have everything ready and plan to mail to USCIS next week.

My H1B Change of Employer (COE) petition submitted by my new employer was approved today. I do not have the receipt notice nor the approval notice in hand as it was recently approved and will probably take some time to arrive in mail once my new employer receives it from USCIS and mails it to me. Is it safe to provide my leave notice to my current employer already or should I wait until my new employer has received the approval notice from USCIS and has mailed it to me?
