Recently accepted an internal transfer offer to switch to FDD from audit in a couple months. After seeing inflation numbers, the PWC 15% deals bump, and generally feeling lowballed (90k HCOL for an S1), I’m feeling really fed up and considering looking to other big 4 (PWC) for FDD to get the comp I feel I deserve. Would this be taboo considering I already accepted an offer?

I am an Audit S1 that wants to work in a B4 Forensics practice. Would it be best for me to accept an offer in Forensics at a much smaller firm (local, 150ish total employees) to gain experience and then try to move to B4 Forensics? Or should I stay in Audit and wait for B4 Forensics positions to open up? Please let me know your thoughts!

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

So I internally transferred from audit to FDD last year but my old audit team still reaches out with questions (especially because it’s busy season now). What do you y’all do in these scenarios?

Does FDD vary by firm or do they pretty much compete and do the same work? Like which one has the best practice in NYC from the big4?
