However, company is calling us office and I am tagged to HYD office. I have a family so it's not feasible move out .
Can you guys please recommend some non tech roles for which I can apply in Rajasthan. DLS does not have location in Rajasthan. Amazon

For Houston, I would suggest Garden Oaks or Oak Forest, EaDo (up and coming though), or the Heights. Heights proper is probably the best part of town for professionals working downtown, but it is pricier than other options given interest in the area, and you sacrifice some space for the location.
Be very cautious about whether any house you are considering has ever flooded. Certain areas of town (e.g. Kingwood, Friendswood) have had bad historical flooding issues. Flooding doesn’t happen often, but from experience, it is well worth paying a premium to avoid this issue.
What part of Texas are you in?
Katy. There is a park & ride about 10-15 min away from most parts of Katy. Buses are comfortable, WiFi equipped, frequent, and drop you off within a block of most major law firm offices.
I take the Grand Parkway 222 on 99 and I10. Runs every 5-10 minutes all morning. Drop offs along Smith St in downtown. It’s the only reason we even considered the suburbs / Katy specifically. Otherwise we would’ve forked out twice as much for the same space in the inner loop.
Garden Oaks or the heights if you don’t want a terrible commute to work but still have a neighborhood feel
What city? Houston is LCOL, Austin is expensive and parts of Dallas also.
In Dallas. Can confirm nothing good under $1M that’s a 30 minute commute from downtown Dallas in good schools. Not even sure you’d find something for $1M.
