get collagen peptides! I put a scoop in my coffee every morning, depending on the brand you get a scoop is 10-20grams of protein in it, some brands dissolve better in coffee than others, I get unflavored, and it has a bunch of health benefits!
Came here to say this. 20g protein from collagen, 10g protein from organic soy milk, and sometimes add a hard boiled egg for 36g.
Perfect Amino
Eggs, Greek yogurt

I eat 3 eggs + 150g greek yogurt. That’s over 30g of protein
I mean cottage cheese is the answer lol, nothing else compares that’s not actual protein powder. My usual breakfast is 2 slices of protein toasts with cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, and half of a small avocado. Topped with some chili flakes. Hits over 50g of protein.
I used to add cottage cheese to my eggs. It’s actually pretty stinking good. I think I’m gonna need to revisit that.
I’m not a breakfast eater so I’m 100% team protein shake. I like the ones from premier protein and fairlife.
I like Naked better than Transparent Labs…all the fake UGC ads Transparent Labs run irks me out
I eat three eggs along with Kodiak protein waffles or pancakes. That’s 30g
Nice! Thank you!
Was Google not available this morning?
I drink a protein coffee drink in the morning. Then have chicken breast with turkey bacon and cheese (typically monterey jack with jalapeño) for lunch. But I also follow intermittent fasting.
C1- I think the protein goal depends on actual goals. Most of the science says 1.2-1.6g/kg per day provides the right range for optimal general health. Those trying to gain lean mass should err towards the top of that range.
I’m also team protein smoothie. And I add some peanut butter powder in it which gives an extra 8-10g in addition to the protein powder.
But I also get burnt out on smoothies if I have them all the time. I alternate with breakfast sandwiches I prep. My recipe is Dave’s killer English muffins, 1 egg + egg white (I cook this in the oven), a chicken or turkey sausage patty, and slice of cheese. I make 6 at a time and freeze them. They come to about 25-30g of protein and ~360 calories.
I use the precooked frozen ones.
I drink a vegan protein shake.
Which one? I do Kachava as it’s basically also a multivitamin and blends really well with plant milk (Ripple)
I have a smoothie every morning with protein powder — mango, banana, spinach, coconut water and vanilla protein powder. Great way to get protein and veggies
This sounds delicious, thank you!
2 cups of Greek yogurt and a bunch of walnuts will get you to 30-40 g of protein real quick. Throw in chia seeds and some fresh (or frozen) berries for flavor and gut health. This usually covers me until dinner so it can be great for cutting calories if that’s your aim.
Will try this, thanks 😊
I like a yogurt parfait with Greek yogurt. There are 20- 25 grams of protein per cup. I like to add some banana and a bit of granola (2tbsp-1/4 cup to watch out for fat) plus as many berries as you want. Berries are low cal/lo carbs and FULL of vitamins. The banana is for sugar and fiber. I also like Kodiak waffles (you can get frozen or meal prep your own) as a peanut butter (or whichever nutbutter you like) and jelly with a side of fruit for fiber.
21 grams is the BARE MINIMUM for breakfast but 30 is recommended at each meal minimum for fat loss and satiety while "dieting" Fiber is needed (30g a day on high protein diet) to help you body digest the protein.
Protein shake- quick n easy!
I put whey protein powder in oatmeal or coffee.
You said your goal is weight loss/eating better, have you considered intermittent fasting? It doesn't work for everyone, but it can have numerous health benefits including improvements to blood sugar/insulin levels. You can do anything from skipping breakfast, all the way to having a 4-6 hour eating window (e.g. 6pm - 12am). Some people do multi-day fasts for the autophagy benefits, but that's in a completely different category.
The studies are proving out that the only real benefit to intermittent fasting is occasional weight loss because it restricts the total calories people who do it generally take in. The best thing for insulin control is muscle mass, which is tough to maximize when restricting calories. Not trying to start a fight here, if you like it, do it, but overall science is starting to demonstrate the most common outcomes.
Following, I need to try and get more protein in the AM.
Shaklee
Check out Felu - Fit on YouTube, he's tons of recipes for high protein breakfasts.
eggs, butter, spinach. Every morning for me, feel great, does not spike blood sugar and sufficient protein. Supplement with protein shakes.
