Returning from a major quad injury is hard but it’s great to be back. Logging about 15 miles per week RN. 41 is the goal and where I was pre-injury.

Went for a pre-employment drug test yesterday. They never asked me if I was on any medications. I had to ask them and was told "oh yeah, just put any you may think make a difference in this text box." I put Xanax, Flexeril, and gabapentin. All of which are prescribed and used as directed. Now I'm terrified that I should have put ALL my meds, to including my psych meds. I've been sober over 12 years and never touched drugs (just booze) but I'm having a full blown panic attack.

I'm not used to IF and had coffee with coconut oil this morning. Thought I was going to pass out since I waited until 11 to eat.

Thinking about adjusting starting to eat at 9:30/10 tomorrow instead.

Anyone here struggle with drinking enough water every day? Growing up, I drank a lot of soda and fruit juices but since 2020, I’ve been trying to be one of those people who always has a water bottle. They say you drink some when you first wake up but I never have a taste for it and then never remember to start drinking until about noon.

So today was my first day on a stimulant (diagnosed as an adult), and everyone says its suppose to feel like *boom* magic, or normal (?) , I guess. Knowing that is figurative, what should I actually be expecting? I feel mostly the same, I think, though I came in and actually did started my work today. Best way to deal with family members who treat you like the family therapist? Over thanksgiving my aunt disclosed some intense stuff to me and asked me for my help/opinion, and it was uncomfortable. Have an acquaintance who is a single mom; she purchased a used car 3 mos ago. Six wks later her 17yo wrecked it, air bags deployed, and estimates have ranged between $10-$18k in needed repairs while $21k is still owed. Acquaintance was switching insurance policies and flubbed the coverage dates and there were a few days where the vehicle was uninsured. No GAP insurance. I'm not seeing many options for her besides to continue pmts, fixing just enough to drive or voluntary repo. Thoughts?
