I am currently a Junior Engineer with 5 years experience, I have been with the same company for 3 years now. I have my yearly review coming up and was asked to present a raise I desire. I feel my company underpays their employees but was wondering what the average salary is for someone in my position. Thoughts on going from a national firm to a smaller one with ~200 employees and $65M in revenue? I’m a first year tax manager and can get a 33% raise by going to this firm.

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.

Any Bridge Engineers/Structural Engineers in here? I got my PE this year and have 5 YOE in TX + an MS. What sort of raise would you expect for receiving your PE working in a consulting firm? I am EOR on a number of structures in development, I manage EITs and Drafters (within projects; I'm not a supervisor), and am doing a lot in general.
