Rough estimates

401k 40%. (Half Roth half traditional)
House 20%
Roth IRAs and HSA 15%
Brokerage 20%
Cash/emergency 5%

I am likely as old as you 2 put together. A1 I agree this tells you nothing, but I would have assumed the opposite of you. I would think a younger person would have the vast majority in their 401k and less elsewhere.

As percents this will shift based on life stage, opportunities to invest, etc. I wouldn’t recommend this as a benchmark.

I’m 25% Roth, 25% Trad, 39% standard brokerage, 10% company stock/ESPP, 1% cash. But what does that tell you?

Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.

Thank you all.

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30.
